Pivot Shower Door Hinges
MAXGO pivot shower door hinges are designed for frameless glass shower enclosures where the door rotates around a pivot point rather than using a conventional side-mounted hinge arrangement. The range includes top and bottom pivot hinges as well as wall-mounted pivot designs for different glass door configurations.
Pivot hinges can be useful where the enclosure layout, door position or available mounting area requires a different solution from a standard wall-to-glass hinge. The correct model should be selected according to the actual glass layout, door dimensions, pivot position and required glass cut-out.
Top and Bottom Pivot Hinges
Top and bottom pivot hinges support the shower door from pivot points positioned near the top and bottom of the glass. Depending on the model, these hinges may be used as part of a header, support or floor-mounted arrangement.
The location of the pivot point affects the way the door moves and the clearance required around the opening. Door size, glass thickness and the corresponding hardware should therefore be checked together before fabrication.
Wall-Mounted Pivot Hinges
Wall-mounted pivot shower hinges connect the moving glass door to the wall or supporting structure while allowing the door to rotate around a defined pivot position.
Different hinge shapes and mounting arrangements are available, including designs for left- or right-hand installations. The individual product drawing should be used to confirm orientation, dimensions and glass preparation.
Choosing the Correct Pivot Configuration
A pivot shower door hinge should be selected according to the enclosure geometry rather than appearance alone. Important factors include whether the hinge is positioned at the top, bottom or wall, the distance between the pivot point and the glass edge, the door dimensions and the available opening space.
For installations where the door position needs to be adjusted after fitting, selected pivot models may also include an adjustment function. The adjustment method and available range are model-specific.
Materials and Finishes
The MAXGO pivot hinge range mainly includes solid brass designs in square and beveled profiles. Finish options vary by model and may include polished chrome, brushed nickel, matte black and satin brass.
Technical specifications, finish availability and glass cut-out requirements should be confirmed on the individual product page.
OEM and Technical Support
MAXGO supports shower enclosure manufacturers, glass companies and distributors with pivot hinge selection, technical drawings and OEM/ODM requirements. For custom door layouts or non-standard pivot positions, the application details can be reviewed before the glass is processed.
