Sliding Shower Door Handles

MAXGO sliding shower door handles are designed for glass shower doors where the handle must work with the movement and clearance of a sliding system. The range includes compact pull handles, knobs and other grip designs for different frameless sliding door configurations.

Handle projection, fixing centres, glass thickness and surrounding clearance vary between models, so the individual product drawing should be checked before glass drilling or fabrication.

Designed for Sliding Glass Door Clearance

Unlike a conventional hinged door, a sliding glass door may pass close to another glass panel, wall or profile.

For this reason, the handle dimensions and projection from the glass should be checked against the complete sliding system. A handle that is suitable for a hinged door may interfere with an overlapping panel when used on a sliding door.

Pull Handles and Compact Grip Designs

Different sliding door layouts may use longer pull handles or more compact grip designs depending on the available space.

Where the glass panels overlap closely, a lower-profile handle or smaller internal grip may be preferred. The actual configuration should be selected according to the door layout and available clearance.

For compact knob and finger-pull options, see our Door Knobs & Finger Pulls range.

Mounting and Glass Preparation

Before glass processing, confirm the handle fixing position, hole diameter, centre-to-centre spacing and projection on both sides of the glass.

This is particularly important for replacement projects, because similar-looking handles may use different hole spacing or fixing hardware.

Materials and Finishes

Sliding shower door handles are available in different materials and surface finishes depending on the model.

Finish options may include polished chrome, brushed finishes, matte black, gold and other decorative surfaces. When handles are combined with rollers, profiles and other hardware made from different base materials, slight differences in finish color and texture can occur.

Choosing the Correct Sliding Door Handle

Before ordering, confirm:

    • glass thickness
    • handle projection
    • hole diameter
    • centre-to-centre spacing
    • panel overlap
    • clearance to adjacent glass or profiles
    • internal and external grip configuration
    • required material and finish

The individual technical drawing should be used as the final reference before glass processing.

OEM and Technical Support

MAXGO supports shower enclosure manufacturers, glass companies and distributors with sliding door handle selection, technical drawings and OEM/ODM requirements.

Custom dimensions, fixing centres, profiles and finishes can be reviewed according to the sliding system and project requirements.
