Support Hardware for Frameless Shower Enclosures
MAXGO supplies support bars, headers, thresholds and U-channels for frameless shower enclosure construction. These components are used to stabilize fixed glass, provide structural connections, secure glass edges and complete different shower door and screen layouts.
The correct hardware depends on the enclosure design, glass dimensions, mounting position and surrounding structure. Dimensions, fixing methods and glass preparation vary by product, so the individual technical drawing should be checked before fabrication.
Shower Support Bars
Support bars help stabilize fixed glass panels by connecting the glass to a wall, ceiling or another supporting point, depending on the system design.
Different bar lengths, profiles and mounting arrangements are available for straight and angled installations.
For these products, see our Shower Support Bars range.
Support Bar Brackets and Connectors
Support bar brackets connect the bar to glass, walls or other structural points.
The bracket design should match the bar diameter or profile, required mounting angle and installation position. Some fittings are fixed-angle, while others provide additional positioning flexibility.
See Support Bar Brackets for compatible mounting components.
Shower Door Headers
Headers provide a horizontal structural element across the upper area of selected shower enclosure designs and can support or connect other hardware depending on the system.
Header profile, length, bracket type and glass arrangement should be considered together before installation.
For these applications, see Shower Door Headers & Brackets.
Shower Door Thresholds
Threshold profiles are installed along the lower area of a shower door or enclosure to provide a defined edge and support the bottom sealing arrangement.
The required profile depends on the door configuration, floor condition and seal design.
See our Shower Door Thresholds range for different profile options.
Aluminum U-Channels
Aluminum U-channels provide a continuous method of securing the edge of a fixed glass panel to a wall or floor.
They offer an alternative to individual clamps or brackets where a longer supporting profile is preferred. Channel dimensions, glass thickness and fixing method should be matched to the actual enclosure design.
For these profiles, see Aluminum U-Channels.
Materials and Finishes
This product group includes different base materials depending on the component, including stainless steel and aluminum designs.
Surface finishes may include polished, brushed, matte black, gold and other decorative options depending on the product.
Because support bars, profiles, brackets and other shower hardware may use different materials, slight differences in finish color and texture can occur even when the same finish name is specified.
Choosing the Correct Support Hardware
Before ordering, confirm:
- glass thickness and panel dimensions
- mounting position
- wall, floor or ceiling connection
- bar or profile dimensions
- required bracket configuration
- glass drilling or edge preparation
- door and seal arrangement
- required finish
The individual product drawing should be used as the final reference before glass processing.
OEM and Technical Support
MAXGO supports shower enclosure manufacturers, glass companies and distributors with support hardware selection, technical drawings and OEM/ODM requirements.
Custom bar lengths, profiles, brackets and finishes can be reviewed according to the enclosure design and project requirements.
