Plastic End Caps for a Finished Screw Appearance
Use this decorative cap where visible fixings should blend with the surrounding hardware. Choose the chrome-color version to coordinate with bright fittings or matte black for dark hardware. The cap is a finishing accessory; it does not replace the screw or its fastening function.
Fit and Installation
Complete and check the screw fixing first. Align the stem with the compatible receiving recess and press the cap gently into position. Do not force it into an undersized or unsuitable opening. Confirm the fit with a sample before specifying it for a production run.
The 3 mm measurement is the cap’s stem diameter, not an M3 screw thread designation. Use the dimension drawing to check compatibility; the cap is not a universal fit for every screw drive or cam-lock fitting.
Choosing SC01 or SC03
Choose SC01 for the 3 mm stem shown in its drawing. SC03 uses a 4 mm stem. Both models have an 11.8 mm cap diameter and 4 mm overall height. Specify the model, color and quantity when requesting a quotation.
