Sliding Shower Door Bottom Guides

Sliding shower door bottom guides are installed near the lower edge of the glass to keep moving panels aligned as they travel along the sliding track.

Unlike rollers, the guide does not normally carry the main door load. Its role is to control lateral movement and help keep the glass running in the intended path.

Single and Multi-Panel Configurations

Bottom guide design depends on the sliding system layout. Some guides position a single moving panel, while others separate or align two overlapping glass panels.

The guide width, channel spacing and glass clearance should match the actual door arrangement.

Matching the Guide to the Door

Before selection, check:

  • number of moving panels
  • panel overlap
  • guide slot width
  • distance between glass panels
  • floor or tray mounting position
