Shower Door Bottom Seal with Drip Rail
MAXGO PS06 is a clear PVC shower door bottom seal combining two parallel wipe fins with an angled drip rail. It clips onto the glass bottom edge to help reduce splash beneath the door and guide runoff toward the shower interior.
Profile and application
- Material: Clear PVC.
- Cross-section: Co-extruded U-channel with twin bottom wipes and an outward-projecting drip rail.
- Typical application: Frameless shower door bottom sealing where both a flexible wipe and a water-deflecting rail are required.
Sizes and selection
| Glass thickness (mm) | Wipe a (mm) | Drip rail b (mm) |
|---|---|---|
| 6 | 8 | 13 |
| 8 | 8 | 13 |
| 10 | 9 | 13 |
| 12 | 10 | 13 |
Dimensions are taken from the profile drawing in this product gallery. Each glass thickness requires its corresponding channel size.
Select the channel for the measured glass thickness, then check the door-to-curb clearance. Wipe length and rail projection describe the profile, not the allowable gap.
Installation checks
Press the channel evenly onto clean glass. Position the drip rail toward the wet side, then open and close the door to check that both wipes flex without excessive resistance.
Check the finished enclosure for splash control. Seal performance depends on the joint clearance, door alignment and water direction. Clean with mild soapy water and a soft cloth.
