Aluminum Self-Raising Shower Door Hinges

MAXGO aluminum self-raising shower door hinges are full-length hinge systems designed for glass shower doors that require a lifting action during opening. Unlike conventional compact shower hinges, these aluminum profiles run along a larger section of the door edge and combine door support with controlled vertical movement. The range includes models for compact shower enclosures and lighter glass door applications. Glass thickness, hinge length, lifting height, fixing method and glass preparation vary by model, so the individual technical drawing should be confirmed before production.

Full-Length Aluminum Hinge Design

The continuous aluminum hinge profile distributes support along the door edge rather than concentrating the load at two or three individual hinge points.

This design can be useful for shower doors where a slim full-length profile, compact installation or integrated lifting function is preferred. The actual fixing method and whether glass drilling is required depend on the selected model.

Self-Raising Door Movement

As the door opens, the hinge mechanism allows the glass panel to rise slightly. As the door returns toward the closed position, the panel lowers toward its resting position.

The exact lifting height and closing behavior are model-specific. These values should not be applied across the complete aluminum hinge range without checking the individual product specification.

Glass Thickness and Installation

Selected aluminum lifting hinge models are designed for 6 mm glass, while other specifications may vary.

Before glass fabrication or installation, confirm the correct glass thickness, door dimensions, hinge length, fixing method and required clearances for the selected model.

Aluminum Finish and Appearance

The aluminum profile provides a clean, continuous appearance along the glass edge and is suitable for shower enclosure designs where a long hinge profile is preferred over conventional point-mounted hinges.
