Self-Raising Shower Door Hinges
MAXGO self-raising shower door hinges are designed to lift the glass door slightly as it opens and allow it to lower as it returns toward the closed position. This movement can help provide clearance between the bottom of the door and the shower threshold or floor area while maintaining a clean frameless enclosure design.
The range includes wall-to-glass and glass-to-glass configurations in different hinge sizes, profiles and opening arrangements. Lift height, closing action, glass thickness and cut-out requirements vary between models, so the individual technical drawing should be confirmed before glass fabrication.
Wall-to-Glass Self-Raising Hinges
Wall-to-glass models mount the moving shower door directly to the wall or supporting structure. They are available in different hinge profiles and mounting configurations for frameless shower doors and screens.
Correct installation depends on the door dimensions, glass thickness, hinge quantity and mounting position. The hinge and glass cut-out should be checked together before production.
Glass-to-Glass Self-Raising Hinges
Glass-to-glass models connect the moving door to a fixed glass panel. Selected designs are available for different enclosure layouts, including 180° glass-to-glass configurations.
Because the lifting action is created by the hinge geometry, the selected model should match the actual door arrangement rather than being chosen only by appearance.
Lifting Action and Door Movement
The main feature of this series is the controlled vertical movement that occurs as the door opens. Depending on the model, the door can rise during opening and lower toward its resting position as it closes.
The exact lift height, opening angle and closing behavior are model-specific. These details should therefore be confirmed from the product specification rather than applied as one general value across the complete range.
Materials and Finishes
The Self-Raising range mainly includes brass hinge designs in different shapes and profiles. Finish options vary by model and may include polished chrome, brushed nickel, matte black and satin brass.

OEM and Technical Support
MAXGO supports shower enclosure manufacturers, distributors and glass companies with self-raising hinge selection, technical drawings and OEM/ODM requirements. For custom glass sizes, special wall conditions or specific lifting requirements, application details can be reviewed before the glass is processed.
